I was listening to Ancient Faith Radio last night and I heard a quote form a Saint, I know not who, ut the quote is as follows:

"The language of God is silence; everything else is a mistranslation".

This really touched me.

Blessings,
Panagiotis

I think the French may be on to something here.

It was one of the early Church Fathers, but I can't remember which one. The actual quote is, I think: "The language of Heaven is silence..."

I really like that. Thanks for sharing it.

I came across this quote sometime back. It is by St. Francis of Assisi and reads "Preach the Gospel at all times, and when necessary, use words." I know he is Catholic, but believe the words are true. It makes me think about my actions, and just what they teach others about my faith.
