Prayers for Hope (baptized Elizabeth), my one year old daughter who's had some kind of stubborn infection the past couple of weeks. Spiking fever, congestion...making nights long and working days difficult.

O Lord Almighty, Healer of our souls and bodies, You Who put down and raise up, do You now, in Your great mercy, visit our sister Elizabeth, who is sick. Stretch forth Your hand that is full of healing and health, and get her up from her bed, and cure her of her ilness. Put away from her the spirit of every disease and malady, pain and fever to which she is bound; and if she has sins and transgressions, grant to her remission and forgiveness, because You love mankind.
Also, visit and heal her parents, so that they also may rest as well as comforted with their concern for their child.

Lord, have mercy. Senor, ten piedad. Dear Lord, please help Hope Elizabeth to overcome her illness. Please grant her complete health. In the future, exclude any possibility, any chance of recurrence of this pain and illness. Jesus, please keep her in absolute health for many many years. Please help her family in this difficult time. Senor, ten piedad. Lord, have mercy.

Thank you all so much for her prayers.
The fever's been gone for a couple of days now, and the mucus is getting clearer. The doctor said today that her ears look good, and that rash that developed this past weekend was due to an allergic reaction to the antibiotic that we gave her. So no more of that. She's all Benadryl'd up and sleeping now, though the drainage causes her to cough and wake up often...so sleep isn't as good as it could be.
Overall, though, she's doing much better than she was. What a week and a half! Continued prayers to knock this thing out completely would be appreciated, thanks.
