Let's see now. My computer tells me that right at this moment it is approximately 12 noon...
...and according to the forum it is 5 a.m.
No wonder it is so quiet in the chat room (I went there once but found my company to be quite dull. I didn't tell myself anything I didn't already know.)
John.

I know what you mean John. I happened to be lurking there at the time and it was exceedingly dull. I can't blame you for leaving. John.

Hey, what about me! I was on the receiving end of all that drivel. I hardly managed to get a word in. I don't know about you but that is the last time I talk to him in the chat room.
John.

Yeah, me too. I'm never speaking to him again. John.

While Prodromos was talking to himself... I don't know how many this applies to (probably only myself and a couple of others), but for some of us this is Holy Week, and so I haven't had too much time to spend online, and I didn't even give our weekly chat a second thought (when I am not doing something else while chatting, the temptation to spend a lot of time in there is too much...hardly a Holy Week activity, you know). It occurs to me that many of you will be in a similar spot next week. Ah, it's great being on different calendars, no? :- At any rate, although it started with a bang, and not too many showed up last Thursday, I hope if we do this enough, it will become a regular thing. God bless you all, and please pray for me.

It was a moderate success... I was there for around three hours talking with Oblio, Nik, Bobby, and Dustin. Bobby's hindu girlfriend showed up and we got to indoctrinate her a bit. Good times...

I did not make it to chat because I had to study for an exam. Why not do a Friday night chat for those who have no life whatsoever?

I agree with sinjin on the Friday night chat suggestion.
I work part-time in the evening at my school's computer lab (during the day I'm a fulltime teacher), and I can't seem to get the chat thing to function on the school's computer.
Friday evenings I'm home. I might be able to get it to work on my home PC (although the wife might not be too happy about it).

Why not do both. I'm sure there are those of us who can't make it on a particular day. I think in the future if see five or more people online I will bump this topic and ask them to come chat.
