In two weeks my best friend, an ACROD deacon , will be ordained a priest.

I have no idea if a gift is appropriate, and if so, what might be suggested on this occasion.

Any ideas?

(A unique ordination, I think. Last year this deacon's father was ordained a deacon. In three weeks our newly ordained priest will celebrate his first Divine Liturgy at his father's parish - his father assisting as deacon. Met. Nicholas has a sense of humor, I must say.)

Demetri,
May be a box for Holy Gifts, which is small and can be easily placed in a car, moved from one location to another. I know someone, who got a wooden cup for communion as such a gift.

Thanks; the box sounds nice. Very appropriate. Now, where to find one?

Demetri,
May be seminary stores have such things? Or they can offer other good possibilities.
