Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

On the advice of my spiritual father, I am starting a fourty day practice of the Jesus prayer in order to help me understand God's will concerning a problem in my life (one that the Lord will hopefully relieve me of). I am a weak person, I have a hard time focusing on prayer. If you could utter a quick prayer on my behalf, that I may have the strength to carry this through, I would be very grateful. May God bless you!

Holy Father Patrick, thank you for your help!

Lord have mercy!

This is a problem I also struggle with, and I am regularly reminded of my need to pray continually. My prayer is that you are more successful than I, who still finds times in the day when I am inattentive to my need for prayer.

Dear friends, thank you for your prayers! I started off well but have slipped for a few days. Now I am trying to get back on track, last night I prayed succesfully. I am going to try again today, I took Holy Communion. Your prayers are greatly appreciated!!
