Ever since Teoma morphed into ask.com I have been unhappy. I refuse for personal reasons to support Google (knowingly).
So...what search engine to you (yoose, yinz, y'all) prefer?
I have to admit I almost abandoned google at one point, their collection of information, even if only for advertizing purposes, is a bit disconcerting...which is why I dont use g-mail. As was their agreement to voluntarily censor information for the communist government in China (though since they, like all us-based search engines, censor searches in this country anyway (an appalling practice yes, but a universal one mandated by inherently unjust laws), such a move isn't too big of a deal...at least they haven't betrayed anyone to the communist government yet).
However, their refusal to roll over and give the government search data when uncle sam asked for it and challenging the legality of such a request in court earned them a reprieve in my book. To their credit, hey did better than any other major search engine. So while I dont fully trust google, I have slightly more trust for them than I do for other major search providers.
