Dear friends of the OrthodoxChristianity. net,
Please pray for my grandson Thomas who is hospitalized with a major infection. He is 18 months old and is on "aggressive" antibiotics for a serious resistant infection. He is on two antibiotics gentamyacin and clindamyacin. Your prayers for him and his mother will be greatly appreciated.
In Christ, Thomas

I will assure you that I will pray for this baby! I am a mother and therefore I will pray for this child. And the family too. So sorry for your painful time now.

Thanks be to God in all things!
After almost 5 days, little Thomas has apparrently responded well enough to the IV medication that they have placed him today on oral antibiotics. We hoping that he will be discharged today or tommorrow if he can tolerate the oral antibiotic. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
In Christ, Thomas

Just an update---Little Thomas is out of the hospital now. He has to still take Clindamyacin 4 times a day orally---I tasted the stuff it made me nauseous, however He is taking it if my daughter Hannah gives it in 4 very small doses---apparrently if you can get it directly down the throat and not the mouth the gag reflex is not triggered---but trust me it tastes awful. Please continue him in your prayers he has to see his family MD tommorrow and then on Thursday or Friday the surgeons again.
In Christ, Thomas

Glory to God!
I'm so glad to have heard of the progress Thomas has made, Thomas!
Please know that I ma praying for both Thomases here, as well as Hannah, and the doctors involved, plus the other members of your family whom I do not know their names.
I'm sure this was a stressful time for you and yours, but God has been glorified through this illness, and all your family has been present to witness to it!
