Friends, please pray for my grandmother (Danica) who suffered a stroke on Saturday and has lost the use of her left arm. She's 79 and has lived a good and pious life and I hope I will have more time with her, as she is very dear to me.

May Lord have mercy, I went through the same thing with my 82 year old grandma 2 years ago, lost use of her whole left side. Wish her the best.

O Lord, Who by word alone did heal all diseases, Who are able to put aside every malady and infirmity, please grant aid to Danica, Your servant, sending down upon her Your great mercy. If she has sins and transgressions, grant to her forgiveness. Give her strength and courage of soul to endure her infirmity.

SS:
I'm sorry to hear about your grandmorther. My mother suffered a stroke in 1992 and from what I understand that is considered the dark ages in comparison to the progress that has been made by medical science in treating stroke patients. I hope you take comfort in this and in many prayers.
Dan

Friends,
Thank you all for your prayers and kind words. By the grace of God, it appears as though my grandmother is doing much better. She is eating again and is getting some feeling back in the left arm. Doctors are recommending a long stint of physical therapy, but she appears as though she is on the road to recovery. I know all of your prayers helped. Thank you.

I will pray. My Great- Grandmother had 3 mini strokes, one stroke. She lived to be 94. The Lord is good. I hope her recovery goes well. Peace to your family
