I may have already posted this, but I can't remember. At any rate, here's a reminder about the public parts of the annual meeting of the Orthodox Theological Society in America (http://www.otsamerica.org/) for anyone who happens to be in the Boston area next week.

Georges Florovsky Lecture 2006

"Theosis and Gregory Palamas: Continuity or Change?"

Norman Russell

Thursday, June 8

At 7 pm

Maliotis Cultural Center
Hellenic College/Holy Cross
Greek Orthodox School of Theology
50 Goddard Avenue
Brookline, MA 02445

Norman Russell is author of The Doctrine of Deification in the Greek Patristic Tradition (Oxford, 2004) and Cyril of Alexandria (Routledge, 2000).

The lecture is free and open to the public, and sponsored by the Orthodox Theological Society in America, which is convening its fortieth annual conference, June 7-9, 2006.

If you are interested in attending, or wish to have more information, please contact Demetrios Katos at dkatos (at) hchc.edu or 617.850.1528. Directions to the Maliotis Cultural Center are available at http://www.maliotis.org/aboutus_directions.asp

Pensateomnia,
That was a great lecture! Thank you very much. I really enjoyed it. Because of traffic in Cambridge, I came about (30) minutes late. But anyway, there was more then enough time to enjoy.
