I figured it was just redundant repetition (my favorite kind!) or something. Though your signature would be a better explanation

 ;)

Cup of coffee for you, friend?

I had a heart transplant hence "second chance."

Yours is a screen name I've wondered about; thanks for sharing! Medical technology is amazing.

Dear Second Chance,

So did my Dad 12 years ago.  And a third chance, he's got a new kidney too.

Mine is simple, as well- "Severian" means "related to Severus." In this case, I like to view myself as a student of St. Severus of Antioch.

I understood it the first time  :D

I chose my name because I like St. Cyril of Alexandria, therefore I'm Cyrillic. I could have chosen Cyrillian, but I thought Cyrillic was nicer because of the relation with the alphabet most slavs use.

The Brahms intermezzo in A major, right? One of my favorites! Of course, everything from that opus is extraordinary.

You have me pegged Cavaradossi, it is the A major intermezzo, andante teneramente. Opus 118 is dedicated to Clara whose portrait is my avatar (I have given up on Orthocat figuring out this quiz/joke).

I never could understand how Condoleezza Rice could be so blind to say that she liked Brahms because he is not sentimental (although her performance of this piece in Indonesia back when she was Secretary of State certainly reflects this attitude).

I think it is obvious, but just in case:

Well, I love chemistry, so I was trying to make an element as my name, like uranium. I wanted it to be based on will like willpower or something. So I was supposed to make willium my name but misspelled it.

Yeah save the excuses for someone who cares. I guess the only terrible and awful name left was Achronos. How's that for modesty.

LOL brilliance.

So instead of being tonsured a monk, he will give birth to a son and name him what he was going to be if he was tonsured a monk.

Nice!

Nothing too fancy. I was baptised John of the Ladder. Not sure why I used the Greek rendition for the first name and the Latin for the latter.
