On the iconostasis in Church, i always look up and see this big "X" on the left side, and a "B" on the right. What is the significance of this?
Please and Thank you.

It could also be "Christ (the) King" if it is Greek letters.

I thought the XB had something to do with Slavonic and was the same thing as XC in Greek. Any of our Slavonic speakers want to put their 2 cents in?

The Russian parish here does that as well, it stands for ÃÂ¥рøÑÂÂÂтþѠÃÂ’þÑÂÂÂúрõÑÂÂÂõ (Christ is risen) hence the ÃÂÂÂ¥ ÃÂÂ’ for short. At the Greek parish they just write out ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ ΑÎÂÂÂΕΣΤÎâ€â€Â! so there is no confusion.

Yeah. The Russian Churches usually have the "XB" and the Greek Churches have the "XC".

Is there a money-back guarantee with that??
