prayer for son's godmother
« on: April 25, 2006, 03:55:40 PM »
I just found out that my 5yo son's godmother is not in Canada to visit her mother.  She is there being taken care of as they found she is suffering from dementia.   I am so sad.  We have only been Orthodox less than two years, my kids even less.  My son is so young, and they were so well matched even though she is in her 70's.  She won't even remember him soon.  I am sad for her, for our parish family and for my little boy.  Our kids godparents were kind of the make up for their lousy biological grandparents, so this is a bitter pill.
Please pray for Kiki.

Lord, have mercy.
If you're living a happy life as a Christian, you're doing something wrong.
