prayer request :)
« on: April 17, 2006, 04:08:15 PM »
hello everyone...

just wanted to ask for prayer...

dh and I are in a rough situation with some family members and I am dealing with much anger--it is really hard. please pray for my own repentance and for God's mercy on me and my family...please pray that God will bless those that have hurt me and give them what they need.

also, i am moving across country bright week, and we have lots of financial stuff going on. dh needs a job. :) i know God will sustain our needs, but i tend to worry about things a lot.

thank you! may He shine His face upon you all...

Of course I'll be happy to pray for you and your loved ones, hoping that the move will go well and that your anxiety will be reduced.

Lord, have mercy.
This is a great day for this forum and for the internet. Mor's energies like a burning comet are raining possibilities for enlightenment upon us all.

Everyone wants Mor.

Mor, you're a jackass.

Prisca,   May the Lord have mercy on you and your family.  There is no better time than now to pray for repentence and go to confession before Holy Pascha.

pray for me a sinner,
Juliana

Lord have mercy
If you're living a happy life as a Christian, you're doing something wrong.

Lord, have mercy.
"If you are going to serve the Lord, be prepared for times when you will be put to the test. Be sincere and determined. Keep calm when trouble comes. Stay with the Lord; never abandon Him and you will be prosperous at the end of your days. Accept whatever happens to you. Even if you suffer humiliation, be patient. Gold is tested by fire and human character is tested in the furnace of humiliation. Trust the Lord and He will help you. Walk straight in His ways and put your hope in Him. " Sir 2:1-6

Lord have Mercy!

Your dh wouldn't happen to be an engineer of some sort would he?  they are hiring all the time where I am.  I could use some other Orthodox women around me!
Not so subtle hint there :)
