No need to respond, just keep me in your prayers.

My faith in Christ is shallow and I do not take the Christian faith seriously. Please pray that I might know God in my life and that I am pointed in the right direction. I want to be a good witness of Orthodoxy to my family, but lack seriousness in my pursuit and knowledge.

Thank you,
JD

Lord, have mercy on us, for we may at least be in similar boats.

God be with you, JD.  I've been in that boat too, and may be in it again.  Hang in there.
