Prayers for a re-conversion
« on: March 13, 2006, 09:34:03 AM »
Dear friends,

I see how responsive our community is to prayer here and I wanted to enter my own bidding on behalf of a person who was raised Orthodox but then fell away from the church.

Please pray for the servant of God Helena, that she may return to a life in the church and a life in the sacraments after a long absence. I can tell she is distressed deep inside and is spiritually thirsty. Perhaps, she will be fortunate enough to co-celebrate the Paschal joy with the rest of us this Easter.

Thank you for your prayers, and may the Lord grant all of you your petitionings!

Lord, have mercy on her, and on us all!
"If you are going to serve the Lord, be prepared for times when you will be put to the test. Be sincere and determined. Keep calm when trouble comes. Stay with the Lord; never abandon Him and you will be prosperous at the end of your days. Accept whatever happens to you. Even if you suffer humiliation, be patient. Gold is tested by fire and human character is tested in the furnace of humiliation. Trust the Lord and He will help you. Walk straight in His ways and put your hope in Him. " Sir 2:1-6

Lord, please lead Helena to Your Truth.

And please do the same for all of us here on Earth.

Lord, have mercy.
Mor has an open appeal. This we knew already.

Mor suffers from Invincible Ignorance and is guaranteed salvation according to the Roman Catholic Church.
