Does anyone have an interest in maintaining the OC.net calendar? It's not a complex duty and can be done by multiple people, but it would be nice to have! PM me for more info if you are interested.

Sounds like a much better title than "Extended Discussion".  Wink

What does "#!/usr/bin/perl" mean?

That's a title if I ever seen one!

It's an instruction placed at the top of perl code pointing to where the executable can be found, as perl is an interpreted and not a complied language...well there are perl compilers out there now but that's a different story entirely...initially it was simply an interpreted language and it still usually is.

I think he's working on a new book called Vulcan simplified - the Great Oxymoron.
