Dear in Christ,

As always, on Monday, Clean Monday, the board will be shut down from 12 midnight Monday (or maybe a little earlier depending on which admin goes to bed last) and 12 midnight Tuesday, Eastern Standard Time here in the US.

Please use the time you save from reading our site and pray instead.

Happy Fasting.  Tomorrow we will post the forgiveness thread 2006.

Anastasios

PS To our Non Chalcedonian friends or any Finnish Eastern Orthodox on the New Calendar, or any Roman Catholics or other visitors, pardon the inconvenience Smiley

LOL "Pardon the inconvenience?" Haha more like get on the real calendar Smiley

Just joking..just joking.

Board will go down at EXACTLY 11:59PM on Sunday night and will reopen at 12am Tuesday morning.  If you start writing a post, know that you will likely lose it if not submitted prior!

As usual, those of us ahead of Greenwich Mean Time are forgotten Wink
I'm heading off to Vespers in an hour, so I wish you all a profitable Fast in which you "crush the heads of unseen dragons".
See y'all on Palm Sunday!

Might I ask, if you decide to take time away from the board during Great Lent, that perhaps you put a little something in your signature at the bottom to indicate so.  It is of great help to other posters who may be awaiting an answer to a question.

Thanks!
