Russian figure skater

I am watching the Olympics and the Russian figure skater that just turned in a near perfect program crossed himself after his program (thumb and two fingers) Vashenko I think is his name.
An Orthodox Olympian!

It's nice to get that every once and awhile... Of course, it coming from a Russian olympian wouldn't affect the audience as much as it would coming from, say, an American or an Asian....

It is Yevgeni Pluschenko.  I don't like him - he's just seems so arrogant...as if he's just entitled to win every time.
