Living in Sin (Big Time)
« on: January 26, 2006, 04:52:50 PM »
I really, really need all your prayers.  I have been living in major sin over the past couple months.  Thing is....I'm deeply frightened to go to Confession.  Please pray that the Holy Trinity would give me courage.  I want to change but there's something holding me back :-\

thanx

Fear is from the evil one. Confession is humbling, but it takes everything away.  Just approach the Lord, and He'll take care of the rest.  My prayers are with you.

In Christ,

Lord, have mercy.
Quote from: Fr Alexander Schmemann
The Gospel is quite clear: both saints and sinners love God. "Religious" people do not love him, and whenever they can, they crucify him.

Of course, OC.net is not reflective of the Church, but is rather a surreal bubble. I have visited a lot of different parishes around the world and have listened to many hours of AFR...

Our God is rich in compassion, gracious and quick to forgive, slow to anger, merciful and kind.....May He Himself show you how true this is.

Lord have mercy

Beavis habibi  :),

May God walk beside you and fill you with His peace.

Lord have mercy.

God bless.

Lord, have mercy.  You are in my prayers.  And may God grant you tears of repentance and the strength to confess and accept his forgiveness.

Your fellow traveler on this road to salvation.
