Yours Prayers
« on: January 11, 2006, 04:30:46 AM »

I've been sick for the past 2-3 weeks with mononucleosis.  Unfortunately, work has been piling up and I am under increasing stress to complete it making my recovery taking that much extra.  If you could please pray for me and perhaps put my name (John) on your commemoration list at church I would be most grateful.  Thank you.

In my prayers.
If you're living a happy life as a Christian, you're doing something wrong.

Robert,  in my prayers.  I will have you on our commemoration list.  Get rest and feel better.

Lord have mercy.

Lord, have mercy!
"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that “my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."" Lord, have mercy.
Quote from: Fr Alexander Schmemann
The Gospel is quite clear: both saints and sinners love God. "Religious" people do not love him, and whenever they can, they crucify him.

Of course, is not reflective of the Church, but is rather a surreal bubble. I have visited a lot of different parishes around the world and have listened to many hours of AFR...

If you get a really bad case of mono, it could develop CFIDS. If it seems to recur often, go see a doctor.
