Prayers for Grandma's Repose
« on: January 07, 2006, 12:59:14 AM »
Hi all,

I humbly ask that you remember in your prayers, the servant of God, Chrisoula, my maternal grandmother, who passed today.  Pray that God might forgive her her shortcomings, and place her among His blessed.
Thank-you.
Theodore (Ted)
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner

Lord have mercy on Chrissoula, her family, and her caregivers. May her memory be eternal!

Lord, have mercy on the family, and may her memory be eternal.

Lord, have mercy.

Eternal be her Memory.

Lord, have mercy.
Quote from: Fr Alexander Schmemann
The Gospel is quite clear: both saints and sinners love God. "Religious" people do not love him, and whenever they can, they crucify him.

Of course, OC.net is not reflective of the Church, but is rather a surreal bubble. I have visited a lot of different parishes around the world and have listened to many hours of AFR...
