I have to ask all of you to please pray for my older brother, Daniel. Last night he was taken to the hospital by my sister-in-law with various symptoms of dizziness, excessive vomiting, dehydration, and lack of coherence.
The MRI they have taken seems to have ruled out a tumor or stroke, and now they are thinking he has a very serious viral infection. To make matters worse, I have more than one child back home with whooping cough, and now I am coming down possibly with the same disease. As such, I cannot visit my brother since the last thing I should be doing is wandering around a hospital spreading pertussis germs.
So, any prayers you can offer for him, his wife, and their two boys would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Just as an update---
Dan is back home, and while the MRI ruled out a tumor or a stroke, it does seem that there is a condition within his sinus cavities (cysts that are probably benign) that are affecting his balance through growing in his inner ear. Hopefully a treatment plan will be worked out in the next few weeks.
He commutes about 100 miles each day, and hopefully his vertigo can get under control---it is unacceptable for him to try to drive that distance if he is subject to debilitating dizziness without any warning.
Thanks for all your prayers!

I thought I would resurrect this prayer thread because it is similar to my situation. Last night my dad had a vertigo attack, he had just had one like 3 days ago also. My family believes that my dad has Ménière's disease due to him also having tinnitus. Please pray for my dad and ask for the lord's mercy so that he may have some rest from this affliction.

Unforutnately, tis the season for illness. It never ceases to amaze me how many just fall ill in the last months of the year.
Lord have mercy on you and yours, and all that find themselves in similar situations.
