Goat does are pregnant and should be delivering in a month.  :)

A big Turkey order is coming in on Wednesday.   Heritage Bourbon Reds.  Classic looking.  Will be raising free range organic.

Hopefully they'll be at least 10 pounds by Thanksgiving.   8)

that's rather late for goats; when i had goats i remember they delivered anywhere from early February to early March or so. And I was taking them to see the billy in probably October IIRC.

The rolled "r" is fantastic!  A wonderful word to shout, even if you don't know what it means ;D!  The down side is that it just doesn't have that down and dirty blunt force trauma effect that the English "f" word has.  8)

I didn't start drinking coffee until I actually needed its help which was around 38.  Now I appreciate its qualities.  However, it's like energy drinks.  The more you use, the more you need.

Heretic! It's much stronger if you pronounce it properly and remember that for most of the Finns it's not an alternate name of Ukko but an alternate name of Satan.

Btw, it's not really the proper equivalent for English "f" word. We have other expression for that.

And here I thought I was more of a "schismatic" (according to other schismatics, that is)  ;D ;D

The sound of the word "perkele", to my English hearing ears, seems just too nice to have a negative meaning or connotation, unlike our "f" word.  Perkele almost sounds like it would be some kind of subtly fragrant mountain flower, rather than he who is the father of lies.  8) 8)

In English lessons I was always taught to use British English. American English was reviled by the teachers as a barbaric variant of proper, British English. We would get no points if we would use American words/spelling/etc.

Back when I was learning, there was only British English to be taught, as only Cambridge offered standardised tests. Later, in university, we were taught that either British or American was okay, as long as we were consistent. No penalty if we skipped all 'redundant' u's and double l's - penalty if we dropped some and kept others. ;)

And rightfully so. I hate how we Americans have so completely destroyed the language.

??? American English and British English were only standardized in the 19th century at roughly the same time, well after the Revolutionary War. So saying Americans corrupted the English language makes no sense. There was no standard to corrupt back then. We just used different criteria to come up with standard spellings than the British did.
