I never had a high opinion of Kim K, but it went even lower when I heard she hooked up with Kanye.

I like Scotch.  We have an understanding.  It's my friend and I am Scotch's friend.  We get along pretty well, even if we only get together occasionally.

Yesterday morning I went to a Catholic church where I was distracted by a charming little girl who kept insisting on taking her boots off, to her mother's chagrin.

Yesterday evening I went to Vespers at an Orthodox church, where I was distracted by yet another charming little girl who kept insisting on taking her boots off, to her mother's chagrin.

You don't eat enough. You don't sleep enough. You do too much of the wrong activity. You are a little young. You are genetically predisposed to being a rail.

In that order of importance.

Sleeping is important. It is king. Diet is queen.

Whether you want to lose weight or gain, put sleep before all else.

To lose weight stick with about 8 hours.

If you are really putting on weight in a proper manner and you are still in puberty < ~23 years of age for males, then 12 hours is going to be the norm. You will have to sleep that much with the quality of exertion and amount food required to gain weight.

When I went bonkers, I nearly slept weekends away. That was the only time in my life I wasn't an insomniac, till I started get my sleeping sickness from being at the parish.

Wait,  does that mean I can lose weight by not sleeping?  How am I still fat?
Sleeping is important. It is king. Diet is queen.

I've met many men who were queens. Women sanely enough don't seem to have the desire to be something as ridiculous as a king.

BTW orthonorm, I love that signature, not sure if it's new or if I've never noticed it, but it's so true

I have lost 35 pounds in six months.

Are you feeling OK?

Most definitely.  It needed to be lost.

How did you do it?!

How did you do it?!

Eating less, and fewer times a day.  Also, cutting out two-thirds of the soda and other surgery drinks I consumed.

I know a secret about a former Supreme Court Justice.  Can you guess what it is?

The greatest tragedy in the world is when a cigarette ends.

American Spirits - the eco-friendly cigarette.

Wait. Consuming significantly fewer calories causes weight loss?

No.

Way.
