I like Brazil, so I'm okay. On a side note, I thought there were a lot of white Brazilians; about 47% are white and about 43% are mixed, I believe.

Moon Ring on 1st of October.
Last night around 1AM with a nearly full moon high in the sky, the largest and probably most spectacularly colored moon ring I have ever seen was formed.
And this is with all the accompanying light pollution of living smack dab in a city.
The apparent size of the moon was so small which made the nearly sky wide moon ring all the more impressive.

Ugh. I hope I don't offend anyone, but I can't keep quiet any longer! Why are you Greeks so annoying and triumphalistic? I swear that during every coffee hour all you Greeks do is keep bragging and bragging about Greek history, mythology or some outdated Greek philosophical concept. Always constantly talking about your culture and so danged prideful. It's annoying! I don't care about some dumb fact about your broke country that is causing the entire European economy to collapse!

Oh James, you are making problems out of nothing. It's only natural when you live in a foreign country that you want to talk about your country. When I'm traveling, I want to tell everybody about Denmark too. It is like when you make posts about marxism. You have a thought and want to share it with others. P.S. You do know that greek philosophy laid the foundation of western civilization, right? It is by no means outdated or insignificant.

Smoking was okay, but I can't see myself making enough of a habit of it to warrant that purchase.
Smoking cigars and pipes aren't really habit. 'Tis something you do socially. As it is not bad for you, since no inhale. I like a cigar on a rare occasion. I do like a pipe now and then. (Now and then being a few times a day.) My friend!!! I haven't had the time to enjoy a pipe for some time, but I aim to correct that this weekend. Sad news though. While inspecting my pipes yesterday I found a cracked shank. I suppose I will now send it off and get a band placed on it. Not sure how it happened, but everyone is a suspect! Good thing it's a cheaper pipe.

I turned 18 today. Purchased and smoked a cigar, because I could.
Congrats! Now buy a pipe. Absolutely! They are a real treat!

no inhale. I really wish I'd known this beforehand. Indeed! They are for enjoyment, not addiction.
