I got two of my highest grades on the entire course so far on the very subjects I feared failing.  :o  Maybe uncertainty of the outcome made me dedicate myself for real.

I find that happens to me; it's when I'm "confident" that I end up making mistakes.  Pride goes before a fall...  ;)  Congrats, too, by the way.

Thanks. :) Confidence was always a real jerk in my academic life, when I was 14 I passed with an average to good grade on all subjects but drawing, for which I had to do a recovery test.

The whole forum is Mor. We're emanations of his godlike mind.

The emanations have become manifestations. Not nation states, yet, but whole, independent unto themselves. They think, and for a moment, wonder at the thought that their parents may die. Is one ever without Mor? Will they ever know? Somewhere in the darkness, a monkey sharpens a rock.
Blessed Nazarius practiced the ascetic life. His clothes were tattered. He wore his shoes without removing them for six years.

THE OPINIONS HERE MAY NOT REFLECT THE ACTUAL OR PERCEIVED ORTHODOX CHURCH

I think many of us have achieved about this level:

It's a symptom of reading OC.net private foras.

OC.net leaks into my real life. I was asked recommendations on introductory-level books on Orthodoxy by an American. I was a bit tempted to strongly recommend Fr. Seraphim Rose.

OC.net leaks into my real life. I was asked recommendations on introductory-level books on Orthodoxy by an American. I was a bit tempted to strongly recommend Fr. Seraphim Rose.

When I read the first 2 sentences, I thought you would say "I was a bit tempted to strongly recommend to read all/certain thread on the oc.net. That's the best and living Orthodox book, preferable for Americans".
Pray for persecuted Christians, especially in Serbian Kosovo and Raška, Egypt and Syria

My Orthodox liturgical blog "For what eat, while you can fast" in Polish (videos featuring chants in different languages)

I would strongly recommend reading all the threads on Private forums.

I'm not sick, but I'm not well.
Why?!  I'm cursed for the rest of the day.

Paranoia, paranoia everybody's coming to get me.
Still stuck in my head.   >:(

Taking a hiatus.  Pray for me, a sinner.

If I wanted to read some normal and balanced news from the US where should I go to? It seems that everything I've recently read* about the US from local newspapers around here makes America sound like some crazy parallel reality. I'd like to have less biased view.

*Everything related to Trump, Dayton drug epidemics, some Australian calling 911 and ending up shot by the police...
