I hope my newfound insomnia gives me a break tonight... staying up until 5 AM when you desperately want to sleep is not a Good Thing.
It's common knowledge that you secretly want to be born in early 17th century Russia.  As a serf or a royal, I know not.  Chances are serf.

I took melatonin last night and was still up late, and woke up at 1.15 pm. Quickest shower before work, EVER!

Somewhat amusing that a bank asked whether I've done my military service when I ordered a new credit card today. Apparently they don't want to provide any service for hippies.

I realized today that my house is being renovated through the whole summer which means that windows and ventilation tubes will be covered too. Which really sucks.

Insomnia continues, I was up past 5 AM today. But I got a lot of gardening and weeding done today - at least until I spotted three brown recluses. The day of gardening ended very promptly then.

That's not very nice. The least you could do is go out and take them some fast-appropriate curried rice or something. They are helping you achieve salvation and all.

Perhaps they want that info so that they can decide if they're going to make you a special life insurance offer. Or they might not give you credit if you're up to face Putin's hordes in Karelia soon.
