Okay, well, since you've explained the appeal of the bizarre-faced Curtis Stone, would you mind explaining why so many women are attracted to this:
And again, I have better hair.
I didn't even know who that was until I looked at the link and Googled the name in it. When I first saw the pic I thought it was that Chris Angel guy... shows how much I know...

Listen, stop focusing on the guys and please explain why men would rather be with a woman with a "gorgeous" body and a so-so face rather than a woman with a beautiful face and a so-so body. I am applying makeup for NOTHING!

Because with the addition of makeup, both can be gorgeous?

Face is way more important.
In Australia, the crasser amongst us call a woman with a rockin' body and not-so-great face a "prawn".
Prawn: you keep the body and throw away the head.
It's so mean but makes me chuckle a little bit.
Can I join in on the fried chicken?

Sure, the less for me, the more chance I'll have at attracting random men. We have a similar term here, "butterface." (She looks good, but her face!) The thing is, some guy always follows that up with, "But I won't be looking at her face when I --" yeah, you fill in the blanks....

Fair enough. YES I am married. Women always like to look attractive and...yeah, that obsession doesn't go away, even with a husband! If I could muster up a teaspoon of confidence, I would be set. Unfortunately, having your life partner doesn't dissolve all the insecurities. WHY am I up? It is 5:30 here and I am still working. Aarg.

This is post 3,000 !!! Yea..
I would like to thank the Mods for being patient with me. I think I have deserved a warning or two from time to time which they have overlooked.
I also want to thank those who started and run oc.net for their service. It has been a place where I have learned a lot.
Thanks

I'm sure that my posting pattern (as insignificant as it is so far!) indicates the same for me. DISCLAIMER: I work in my home office 9 AM to whenever my work is finished, 6 days a week, and OC.net is always open! I swear, I have a life. Okay, I only have work, but that's okay.

I think asking someone to marry you at a sporting event is overdone (besides being a bad idea for other reasons). Nonetheless, I just saw someone on the Pirates telecast holding up a sign for the camera asking a girl to the prom, and for whatever reason, I thought that was really cute. EDIT--Update, the announcers just said that the girl said yes, lol. How did they find that out? I assumed that since he was holding up a sign that the girl was at home watching... *shrugs* ...I guess in the age of cell phones things happen fast!

That's how my son proposed to my now daughter-in-law - it was on the big screen at a football game. He was afraid she'd be in the ladies' room when it came up. Fortunately, she came back in time . They're expecting their first child mid-June (my third grandchild).
