I had a dream that Chris Rock died and had an Orthodox funeral. What's more, is during the funeral he began to sit up and look around at everyone (probably wondering what on earth he's doing in an Orthodox Cathedral!)

One time there was a party with all the functions.  The classic friend x^2 was there, the crazy 1/x was there, and of course, sin x with his oft repeated stories.  Suddenly ln x sees his friend e^x sitting down and feeling sad.  He goes and gives him a talk, and asks him, "Hey there buddy.  Why don't just go with the crowd and integrate?"

e^x sobs in reply:  "It won't make a difference!"

Why don't just go with the crowd and integrate?"

e^x sobs in reply:  "It won't make a difference!"

orthonorm constantly refreshes his browser so he can see if I made a new thread, considering how much he enjoys them.

Rant:  I do not  the terms BCE and CE!  Nor do I like being on the fence, it's not helping! ( see my status!). Nor do I like being in a relationship for a period of time and then all of a sudden my convictions are a problem-later baby!Nor do I like losing a good friend Saturday due to a very long illness . Nor do I like green eggs and ham.

What I do like/love/appreciate:  (in no specific order)  My kids, grandchildren, family(warts and all, LOL), God, a few really good friends who help hold me accountable-they make great devils advocates!, this site- even though I read more than I post here, sunrises on the way to work, sunsets on the way home, and everything in between (except the cold weather), work, people, critters, nature, Ancient Faith Radio, crab cakes by Jazz restaurant, blues, waking with pain in my joints- so I know I can still feel-LOL, ...............

Some of my best friends have prior convictions, and several have done jail time.
