If you can start the day without caffeine,
If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains,
If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,
If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it,
If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time,
If you can take criticism and blame without resentment ,
If you can conquer tension without medical help,
If you can relax without liquor,
If you can sleep without the aid of drugs,
.....then you are probably the family dog.

Oooh, your poor puss could do with a REAL feed! Throw her a beef rump (whole). That'll start to get her somewhere. And let her do her bit on any butcher's bones, while you're at it. She'll love you for it.

I was putting indoors yesterday, and I have discovered the cat hazard. A deceptive little trick of the most elite course designers, this trap goes unnoticed until the player putts. Then, out of nowhere, a cat bursts forth and swats the ball away from the hole.

Crafty! And of course, the cat runs away before you can wring his neck for it.

Okay, our site registers the number of computers that are looking at the forum at any given time. Any of them that are logged in show a username at the bottom of the front page. All the rest, the ones that are not logged in, are "guests." Sometimes these are members who have not logged in, and sometimes these are real people who read the forum but do not post (i.e. "lurkers"). But most of the time, these are dozens of the literally thousands of computers owned by Google to search the Internet. These computers look at our site to try to determine what information is available here. Then, when someone types in, say, "Orthodox Christianity," Google knows we have a lot of information about that subject, so it places us very high on its list.

Since you guys are so internet-clever, can you work out what's happening with my computer? Every time I log on it tells me I've been logged on for just over 1 day (!). It never seems to get to 2 days, and it never drops below one. I keep the computer on for quite long periods of time, but I do turn it off, and certainly there's no way I've been browsing this site anything like so long (however much it may feel like it ).

I wonder what happened to IT.
Don't you know? There are 142 IT's on the forum. how did you POSSIBLY calculate that? The guests on the forum are usually indexing computers from Google or another search engine. That's why the number is so high. you do realize that to a mere mortal such as I that makes absolutely no sense right? Okay, our site registers the number of computers that are looking at the forum at any given time. Any of them that are logged in show a username at the bottom of the front page. All the rest, the ones that are not logged in, are "guests." Sometimes these are members who have not logged in, and sometimes these are real people who read the forum but do not post (i.e. "lurkers"). But most of the time, these are dozens of the literally thousands of computers owned by Google to search the Internet. These computers look at our site to try to determine what information is available here. Then, when someone types in, say, "Orthodox Christianity," Google knows we have a lot of information about that subject, so it places us very high on its list. ok so how did you access that information and figure out the number of "it" on our site? On the front page, there is a count of how many guests and how many users are on the forum. Currently there are 14 of each.
