These riassos look really weird. But why are they colored as mantias? Are they allowed to be worn for laymen also? On the other hand they keep old-Russian-style colors: purple for Bishops, blue for Metropolitans and green for Church's Primates. Are they worn by Hierarchs in Alaska? I've heard there is quite chilly and they might be good for Hierarchs there. |
