Are "monkies" anything like "monkeys"? No, they're short bald men in robes. "Monkees," however are quite different. ...people say we monkey around. But we're too busy singing... ... to put anybody down! We're just trying to be friendly, Come watch us sing and play.

These riassos look really weird. But why are they colored as mantias? Are they allowed to be worn for laymen also? On the other hand they keep old-Russian-style colors: purple for Bishops, blue for Metropolitans and green for Church's Primates. Are they worn by Hierarchs in Alaska? I've heard there is quite chilly and they might be good for Hierarchs there.
