Well, after watching Into the Wild Green Yonder, all I can say is that if any fans of Futurama value their current view of the series, don't watch the latest movie.  I haven't found the movies to be that great, especially compared to the series, but this latest one... wow.

Yesterday I had a test on physics and in one exercise (of the 3) one had to find the width of the first-order spectrum. We had wavelenghts of violet and red lights, distance between diffraction grating and screen and diffraction grating's constant given.

It was rather simple as in physics but I hardly managed to do it because of maths. I wanted to kill the man who invented trigonometry.

That's not bad. In Poland we had MPs with uncompleted secondary education and even sentenced by the court.

I've heard totally opposite joke:

In grocer's customer is angry because the checkout isn't working. The shop assistant:
- Wait a sec. I graduated Technological University, I'll be able to fix that.

It's not even "one week in."  We're beginning our 5th day.  But fear not - you have the strength to endure.

Just remember to turn your desire for food into a desire for God. Use the pains of hunger to identify with Christ's pains on the Cross. Turn your longing for meat into a longing to see the Resurrection. Lent is not about food, but about repentance and expectation of the Resurrected Christ. Proceed in this knowledge, and God will give you the strength to complete the Fast.

Yikes.  Calm down.  Take a deep breath.  We want 200 posts of some substance - not just counting numbers.  Make a game out of it.  Invite others to participate - it's no fun if you do it all yourself.

200 to go

Less than that... But please remember:

I wonder if there are 206 posts left in people in the next 90 minutes to make this the first-ever 9,000 post month... I have my doubts.

Can

No short (1 or 2 word) posts to boost the total!

Ah that took the fun right out of it.

post 206 messages in 90 minutes?  I can, just don't get mad at me

Not 206 from one person - 206 from all people.  Be creative!
