Did anyone watch the Colts Packers v. Saints game last night? I felt like it was a little bit of a lack-luster ending. I wanted the game to keep going personally, but I guess one could say it was well fought. Saints blew the game out of the water. Colts played Sunday night. way top pay attention serbski...lol. thanks o sole mio. Did anyone watch the new 24?

I think Ravens beat Pittsburgh; Too bad John Madden couldn't keep the bus parked in Baltimore for another week, traveling to Dallas for the Giants/Cowboys matchup.

Congrats! And a couple of weeks later, you have another 130+ posts to your name - well on pace for 6,000+ by next year, this time.

What would "Didaskalous tou Genous" be in Latin?
In fact, can anyone translate all the titles available to the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate into Latin?

Well, since the titles are from the "byzantine empire" and the "byzantine empire" was technically the Roman empire....fill in the blank.

Can Cleveland beat ozgeorge to 10,000 posts? I was "in the lead" for quite a many month, but have fallen behind my esteemed fellow Global Mod. I would have to go back to my energetic, post in every thread ways, which I have been out of for quite a while.

Well, if you are feeling industrious, you could go to one of the Latin-language websites (i.e. for teaching Latin) and look up in their dictionary sections the words... and then get help from one of our users on Declension/Conjugation/etc.

Can Cleveland beat ozgeorge to 10,000 posts? Now that I've thought about it - I don't think I can. The two of us are both involved in many threads, so it would be hard for me to go ahead of him in volume by 200 posts or so in addition to our already-high posting rate.

No one was hurt nor did anyone's car wind up at the bottom.

Little known fact: Tito was the one who standardized the phoenetics, and it was a "communist" reasoning b/c he wanted everyone to have the SAME standard way to write all letters. So, actually the phoenetics, became "latinica" or a standard way of writing serbian with latin characters. Good ole' Tito...lol. I've always felt that Britney Spears will make a comeback.

A David Caruso fan, huh? Yes and Emily Proctor. Horatio Caine is the modern Lt. Theo Kojak, full of mystery, style and, dare I say, the 21 st Century Manga. I like the show, but much prefer Gary and Melina on the NY edition to David's constant head-slant. Melina is Theo Kojak's female equivalent.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AardvarkThe Aardvark (Orycteropus afer) (afer: from Africa) is a medium-sized, burrowing, nocturnal mammal native to Africa.[1] It is sometimes called "antbear", "anteater", "Cape anteater" (after the Cape of Good Hope), "earth hog" or "earth pig". The name comes from the Afrikaans/Dutch for "earth pig" (aarde earth, varken pig), because early settlers from Europe thought it resembled a domesticated pig. However, the aardvark is not closely related to the pig; rather, it is the sole recent representative of the obscure mammalian order Tubulidentata, in which it is usually considered to form a single variable species of the genus Orycteropus, coextensive with the family Orycteropodidae. Nor is the aardvark closely related to the South American anteater, despite sharing some characteristics and a superficial resemblance.[2] The closest living relatives of the aardvark are the elephant shrews, along with the sirenians, hyraxes, tenrecs and elephants.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AardvarkThe Aardvark (Orycteropus afer) (afer: from Africa) is a medium-sized, burrowing, nocturnal mammal native to Africa.[1] It is sometimes called "antbear", "anteater", "Cape anteater" (after the Cape of Good Hope), "earth hog" or "earth pig". Nor is the aardvark closely related to the South American anteater, despite sharing some characteristics and a superficial resemblance.[2] The closest living relatives of the aardvark are the elephant shrews, along with the sirenians, hyraxes, tenrecs and elephants. thank you! very interesting actually, and kind of amazing that they are related to elephants!

What would "Didaskalous tou Genous" be in Latin?
In fact, can anyone translate all the titles available to the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate into Latin?
I'll get right on it when my Christmas vacation begins next Friday at 3:30 pm. Z-minus 6 days!

Well it took him a year and a half to get here, but I think he'll slow down from the rate of 8.961 posts per day, so I'm guessing two years... December 2010.

Only 96 more posts until 5,000 posts on this thread. With 17+ days remaining in 2008, 6 posts a day on this thread will do it. How about naming the 3 NFL teams to win 14 straight regular season games. I'll start off with the 2004 Pittsburgh Steelers. The other two are easy for you sports buffs out there.
