It worked. What exactly is rusty cognac? Extra-aged in fine rusted steel casks, pasteurized in the Fires on Lake Erie, and left to sit with no attention for 2 decades... Or it's the admiral's way of making fun of my Rust-belt city.

Speaking of "Random Postings," how about this: "Supremacy of Peter (insert other word here)" Ah. I was wondering if it was like a "Rusty Nail" only with brandy/cognac instead of the Scotch.
That's quite the idea.

We sat on the front porch and watched our neighbours blow up hundreds of dollars. Good show. Much better than the 50,000-plus-attended city fireworks display or the rival 50,000-plus-attended megachurch's fireworks display. And no traffic jam.

Front porch sitting
North v. South
North: Cool breeze, can see mountains
South: Feels like oven, humidity so high it forgets to rain, couple in that blue haze and you can't see three blocks down the street

We sat on porch and witnessed neighbors shooting fireworks rather than the usual firearms...ah, the joys of urban life...
