Blessed Nazarius practiced the ascetic life. His clothes were tattered. He wore his shoes without removing them for six years.

Christ my God, set my heart on fire with love in You, that in its flame I may love You with all my heart, with all my mind, and with all my soul and with all my strength, and my neighbor as myself, so that by keeping Your commandments I may glorify You the Giver of every good and perfect gift. I prefer cold climate to hot for camping. SC can’t be that bad.

No, just average lows around freezing.  ;D  I've only done that once before and not with kids.  It could be interesting.

I'd say go for it. Temperature wise it's pretty moderate, and you won't be dealing with the coastal winds. Assuming you're an experienced camper, just make sure your sleeping gear, etc., is graded for close-to freezing temperatures and have a backup plan if something gets wet (and camping, it surely will).

Nay. It is best to prepare for the coming days. Flee to the hills (and practice)!

All the tips I'm finding on "winter camping" are for feet of snow...  :o  I guess for merely freezing temperatures: layers, and hope it doesn't rain.  At least food spoilage is less of a concern.  Anyway, there's always hotels strategic failure.  ;D

Is it cannibalism to eat a mermaid?

Guess it depends on what kind of mermaid and what end of it you eat.

More interesting question, would it be cannibalism to eat the Creature from the Black Lagoon?

I've never seen the PH animated film (which was released after the MCU Hulk movie, but before MCU really took off).

With only a minimal amount of retconning relying on the whole "Time works differently here," they could still do a good PH/WWH storyline consistent with the MCU, but I think the main cast is tired of playing the same characters for the last decade. They'd also have to figure out if Thanos killed Korg and Meik (who were cinematically very different than their Warbound incarnations) on Thor's ship.

It's harder for the MCU to use seriously dark characterization turns, it seems like. Look how mild Civil War Tony Stark is from his comics version lol! I can't see them being gutsy enough to do that to Tony and Strange's characters, let alone Bruce's, going forward. Also, introducing Caiera would interfere with Bruce/Natasha.

I would love to see the MCU's version of the Sentry, though.

I think the best we can hope for at this point in terms of genuinely dark turns would be some kind of non-Old-Man-Logan version of Wolverine vs. the Maestro (assuming the rumor about Jackman returning is true) since they have the "alternate future" reset button there.

But yeah, actor fatigue is the time limit on the MCU keeping up much longer (which is fine by me tbh, not that it hasn't been a good run).

They'd also have to figure out if Thanos killed Korg and Meik (who were cinematically very different than their Warbound incarnations) on Thor's ship.

Yeah, making Ragnarok's Meik the badguy would take some pretty admirable writing to pull off and would probably just feel kind of odd.

So my wife and I were wrapping Christmas gifts for our kids today... My wife had ordered online an inflatable inner-tube unicorn for our 8 yr old daughter, and a inflatable inner-tube dragon for our 8 yr old son.  On the front of the box of the dragon there is a model in bikini sitting in the tube, but nothing too risque... however on the back of the box you can the model is wearing a THONG! So we decided to put a sticker on it. ???

Did anyone ask why she had a happy sombrero ghoul on her butt?
No, infact I think he only looked at the front counter off the box anyway, and after I wrap them I couldn't remember which one was which so I actually gave him the unicorn and her the dragon but after they got them they decided to switch on their own.

People will like you better if you don't voice your opinions.

I don't like people who don't have opinions worth voicing.

Tacos do sound good.

Some time ago I've been there in Lebanon to funeral to person I hadn't known (only know her daughter and son-in-low and ofc, only for relativle short time).

Yesterday I was at consolation (wake) after the person I hadn't known either. (but haven't been to funeral) Here this consolation meetings last more than 1 day and they're social event.

Certainly, my friends in Poland when ask me "how ddi you spend your day" and get such answers from me, are quite surprised.

Of course, it's interesting, I'm very keen on various cultures, but I'd prefer to attend some weddings (as I love them in general, both the church part and the reception/party)...
