Well there’s Turisas with their Varangian albums. Though I think the band members are neopagan.

There was a Greek rock band around the turn of the century that was made up entirely of priestmonks. Search for 'paparokades' on YT and sample. Everything's in Greek, so no worries about understanding. :)

There's Batushka too with schemamonk robes and lyrics in Slavonic. It's not exactly a Christian band though.
I just need to find out how to say it in Slavonic!

Batushka actually makes fun of orthodoxy just look at their CD covers

Apart from the poetical books, the most afflicting part of the OT for me is Judges 21-22. The whole idea of war between brothers is just so sad, and Israel clearly didn't want to kill Benjamin. The text's writer himself clearly resented it.

Yes. But at least one of them, as far I know, is of Polish Orthodox origin; the band is actually aware of the Orthodox worship and knows it better than Catholics in this country ( Poland).

I think just had the most bizarrely specific deja vu in the history of the world- Eating an Atkins Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein bar while laying in bed and watching raocow Let's Play a Wario game.

I did this exact same thing like three months ago, except it was Wario Land 2 instead of 3 lol.

Fun fact: Pope Michael's zip code for his Vatican in Exile in Topeka is 66616.
Wishing to grant pardon for ancient debts, he who cancels the debts of all people came himself and dwelt among those who were estranged from his divine grace; and tearing apart the record of sin, he hears from everyone: Alleluia.

LOL, poor guy.

I actually have some respect for conclavists in general. You don't like the Pope but still think Papal Supremacy is necessary? Make your own! At least he's not trying to square the circle as much as a lot of Trads and Sedes are. Plus he seems like an ok guy.

But maybe that's just my American biases.

I agree with you 100%. Conclavism really does seem to be the most logical solution given there was a time before Cardinals, and in addition the writings on his page are actually polemic-free. He states his case rationally and keeps things to basic Catholic teaching, even uses the old Eastern fathers here and there. Though there are some things that definitely sound borrowed from Evangelical sources in tone, which seems odd. I could almost be converted if it weren't for that pesky Filioque thing  :P

Still, he could consider Lebanon, Kansas 66952 as the Vatican's new home. There's even a chapel already there for Mass:

Christ is risen from the dead,
Trampling down death by death,
And upon those in the tombs
Bestowing life!- Paschal troparion

Is swearing a sin?

You go to hell for that.
Happy shall he be, that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock. Alleluia.

Once Christ has filled the Cross, it can never be empty again.

Blessed Nazarius practiced the ascetic life. His clothes were tattered. He wore his shoes without removing them for six years.

Take a breath, read Ecclesiastes 1:9.

Is swearing a sin?

I think it depends. There are some things that are so evil that it almost feels dishonest NOT to denounce them in the strongest of terms that one can find, and in a language like English or Russian those are curse words (as opposed to a language like Japanese where something being a curse or not is entirely dependent on tone and context AFAIK).

Using the F-word as a punctuation substitute is not that, though, more falling under the general need to avoid "idle talk" and not being filthy minded.

Christ my God, set my heart on fire with love in You, that in its flame I may love You with all my heart, with all my mind, and with all my soul and with all my strength, and my neighbor as myself, so that by keeping Your commandments I may glorify You the Giver of every good and perfect gift. Amen.

That's more of a Heck sin.

Did our Holy Fathers and Elders teach about being durned to Heck?

If it's good enough for St. Paul to say, it's good enough for me.
