I guess I haven't lived in a major American city.  I have yet to encounter a Brazilian store in such such places.

There's this.  It's a little north of Atlanta.  Couldn't dig up much else except a bakery in the same vicinity.
Is any of the above Orthodox?  I have no idea, so there’s that.

Unfortunately, the only time I ate tacos was in the US, it seems brown people are happily overtaking it. I like churros, though.

A forum I was a member of since 2001 went to the great Message Board in the Sky this weekend.

I was sad to see it go, but also kind of glad to know a huge part of my digital footprint had gone with it.

Man, just look for a Brazilian market or something, any major American city has one.

I've already looked for one here in Pittsburgh, but I guess I'm not in a major city. :P

Pittsburgh is definitely the least major city-ish of all major cities I've been to. In some respects I like that.

It feels like a big town. My appreciation for it grew after I've been to Toronto (the NYC of Canada) a few times.

Oh, I had heard Brazilian stores were more widespread then. I myself don't know much of the US, but I'm not very curious either. I'd absolutely love to visit New York or New Orleans again, but no other place interests me particularly...

The only outposts of Brazilian culture where I live are fancy steakhouses with waiters dressed as gauchos.

Gaúchos are weird, I'm not sure they do anything apart from riding horses, barbecuing, complaining about their homosexual stereotype or hating everyone outside their traditional homeland. The average churrasqueiro looks rather like that:

Don't know about genuine claims that he's gay, but apparently after the recent meeting between him and Trump there were a bunch of gay-themed memes floating around, which triggered both Trump supporters and also LGBT people who thought gayness was being used as a derogatory charge/claim. *shrugs*

Something funny about ethnic diversity here is that every day I see people that could perfectly fit in a variety of places worldwide due to their own phenotype: Portugal, Germany, China, Subsaharan Africa, the Middle East, the list could go on. If I see a Chinese-looking family, for instance, my first thought is that they're just Brazilians with a Chinese background and I'll get pretty surprised if I realise they don't speak Portuguese as a first language.

However, I can safely spot a Bolivian anywhere. The only nationality I can instantly recognise here are precisely our neighbours.  :P

The fact there are so many literal autists (aspies to be more specific) in my closest social circle while I'm definitely not in the spectrum kind of worries me, but none of the toxic friendships I had came from these people, so I guess I'm just an honorary autist.

Protip: Make autistic friends.

Businesses with the words "innovative" or "creative" in their names typically aren't.
“Steel isn't strong, boy, flesh is stronger! That is strength, boy! That is power! What is steel compared to the hand that wields it?  Contemplate this on the tree of woe.” - Elder Thulsa Doom of the Mountain of Power

Mencius said, “Instruction makes use of many techniques. When I do not deign to instruct someone, that too is a form of instruction.”

But be prepared for their real opinions if you ask their opinion.
Blessed Nazarius practiced the ascetic life. His clothes were tattered. He wore his shoes without removing them for six years.

THE OPINIONS HERE MAY NOT REFLECT THE ACTUAL OR PERCEIVED ORTHODOX CHURCH

Take a breath, read Ecclesiastes 1:9.
