Oh ouch.  So you scratched your eye and then managed to get habanero juice into it?
Nope, it was previously dried, but habanero is really that strong.

Quote
I suppose the body part where strong peppers might hurt more is, to use a euphemism, “where the sun does not shine.”  Given the discomfort pepper causes on the way out, I shudder to think what pepper would feel like if applied directly to the nether regions of human anatomy.
Well, it may hurt enough in the way out, specially if you eat large peppers without chewing them properly...

Ouch. Once my father brought ljute papričice (hot peppers) from my family in Bosnia (their own "production") for my birthday party. Two guys bet they would eat such pepper. They managed to do it, however, they forgot to clean their hands after it. Both of them rubbed their eyes, so... at least 15 minutes they were in big trouble, outised the party.
LOL! I have a bottle of Grinder's Death Nectar, which is basically habanero mash, ghost pepper powder and pineapple juice, around 150 times hotter than Tabasco sauce. Last year some friends came home and we all started to eat it with bread like jelly, eventually most people were rolling in the floor and we felt vodka as tasteless and brandy as sweet. Someone touched the fridge after having touched such bread, someone else touched the fridge, scratched their eyes and they were in total pain again...

What religion was everyone before they became Orthodox! ???
None or esoterism.

Methodist, none, evangelical Southern Baptist.
Is any of the above Orthodox?  I have no idea, so there’s that.

My friend that's getting married had asked me to send her proposal for songs to be played at wedding.
I felt so engaged in the issue, that I sent her 52 propositions.

Edit: and I bought a very nice dress for this wedding (and not only) for just 3$ in a second-hand shop I was going by after passing one of my exams. Still, I have no partner for this wedding, but all the rest is prepared.

There's even an epistle for Celts (Galatians), so you guys really deserved some affirmative action in the New Testament.

Euler's Identity.

In terms of formal affiliation -- Southern Baptist -> Experimental Teen Religion -> Southern Baptist -> Dutch Reformed/Presbyterian -> Cool Southern Baptist (while believing in paedobaptism)-> Uncool former Southern Baptists (while believing in paedobaptism)-> Orthodox -> Cafeteria Orthodox

Not in this case; he would have signalled us.  When our bishop desires something, he makes it very clear.

HE Mor Clemis has VLADYKA vanity plates and sings “God grant you many years”?

You know I moved, right?

No, I did not know that.  Where?  Who’s your new bishop?
OC.NET is full of temptations, but in temptations we are enforced, remember about the thread "Temptation in the Desert: Rachel Weisz and the Undoing of Mor Ephrem". OC.NET helps in becoming unpassionate.

My friend that's getting married had asked me to send her proposal for songs to be played at wedding.
I felt so engaged in the issue, that I sent her 52 propositions.

Will you be the DJ?   ;D
Haha, no (probably, fortunately for the guests).

I wouldn't mind seeing that playlist.

Thank you, what a good list.  ^This one, for some reason, gave me an Olga Tañon vibe (maybe the way the video was shot and the tone of her voice).  https://youtu.be/ZjqEYQCTKiM
Thanks. Interesting son - yeah, maybe because of the tone.

Happy 4th of July for those of us in America!

I was on a walk, and was shocked by the sound of petards. Then I saw that they're work of Mormons (10 minutes by foot from my flat and 5 minutes by foot from my parish; I think it's their unique temple in Poland). I was wondering what a feast they may celebrate. And I realised it's 4th of July.

The 4th of July occurs all over the world.
Happy shall he be, that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock. Alleluia.

I would like to apologize to you on behalf of the United States of America for this Mormonic intrusion.

To our credit we did attempt throughout the 19th century to suppress their religion, and we did prevent them from forming their planned superstate of Deseret, which would have been larger than Texas I think, covering most of the Rocky Mountains and Nevada.

Why apologize for something you didn't cause?

Why apologize for something you didn't cause?

Because it is seemly for Anglophones to be apologetic.

Of course we could not suppress it. How could the New Jerusalem suppress itself?
