I don't know.  But a person who raised them along with sheep told me once that llamas make terrific 'guard dogs'.  They're very protective of the sheep and will take on a coyote and stamp it to death if possible.

Chasin' down a Hoodoo...

« Reply #2749 on: November 16, 2007, 02:51:22 AM »

And don't llamas and alpacas spit like camels?

Heck yes!  Once I was meandering down a country road (lots of 'em 'round here) and chanced upon a small herd of llamas in a field.  I stopped my car and rolled the window down to get a better look at them, which in turn enticed them to come and get a better look at me.  As we stared at one another (this in itself is quite comical), one of them came up to the barbed wire fence.  I don't know why, but I instinctively rolled my window up and none too soon!  This one, at least, had quite a good aim. Cheesy

99 bottles of beer on 7 shelves on the wall,
99 bottles of beer,
Robert changes the # of bottles/shelf to 45 from 15,
then pass one around,
98 bottles of beer on 3 shelves on the wall.

We interupt the progression of this thread because cleveland, who replaced the sacked Ian Lazarus that informed you that Ebor had just been sacked, wishes to inform you that he has just been sacked. Grin

The thread has been redone at great expense at the last minute, and is now on page 62.

62?  What happened to 185?  Did we finally go to far (or too long?)?!?

Nope.  That's what I was alluding to in my "bottles" song: Robert changed the default display from 15 posts/page to 45 posts/page.

http://www.americanheritage.com/articles/magazine/ah/1986/6/1986_6_74.shtml

"Then, late in the 1960s, a comedian on the popular television show “Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In” whispered into hi companion’s ear, “Do you want a Walnetto?” She hit him over the head with an umbrella, viewers picked up the insinuating phrase, and the Walnetto bar enjoyed a brief and hectic renaissance on candy counters before going out of circulation forever."

Hello,

Albert Einstein didn't wear socks.
But Bill Clinton had a cat named Socks.

Which is why Joe Jackson's lack of shoes didn't dirty his White Sox.

I'm really not a fan of the more posts in a page thing...

I was relishing in the insanely high page count!  We could have reached 1000 pages!!!

That would have been great.

As it stands right now, we're just at the level of a half-way decent Masters thesis.

Eh, more like two-thirds, depending on the field of study.
