Yes, though in my youth I am more familiar with the modern version of Paul Brandt.

Maybe because he was only on for one season. I always wondered why they took him off the air. And apparently, some kids in Boston were banging their heads on the piano keys after viewing that. But what I dont get is that in the same year, kids were also trying to balance pies and falling down short stairs on purpose, and the clumbsy chef stayed on. What's worse a scar or a spinal injury....caused by whipped cream?

There was a Simpsons episode where Smithers did that. I wonder if one copied the other. Smithers: "Don't let me off the hook that easily sir. I failed you and I'll never forgive myself. Never never never never..." (Burns puts up limo wall, blocking out Smithers... limo phone rings, picks it up) "Never never never!"

And the Simpsons is well known for subtle pop culture references, something I'm glad to see Seth MacFarlane picked up on. "Family Guy" is this generation's Simpsons.

Hello, There's a farm museum near me that is run by the Cleveland Metroparks system. Every year they have something called Fiber Fest (at least that was the name last year). Part of the exhibit are llamas and alpacas. There was one goat named Figaro. I went to see him being sheared at the exhibition. He baaaaahhhed the whole time. It was funny. At the end, he got up and wet all over the freshly shorn wool; almost like he was saying: Take my wool will you!
