Did anyone here watch unranked and last place Stanford beat No. 1 USC in LA? Bye-bye to the Trojans' winning streak at home. I read something about Trojan QB John David Booty throwing four interceptions, one of which the Cardinal ran back for a TD--the Cardinal won 24-23. That was pretty sweet. I hate USC and the entire PAC-10 by extension but I love seeing the underdog win. Speaking of win, I'm so happy my Missouri Tigers absolutely crushed and humiliated Nebraska. Let the good times roll!

Well, you know the problem with this mentality, don't you? EVERY Pac-10 conference game ends with a Pac-10 team winning. GO DUCKS!

Someone has yet to tell the Canadians that they have bad taste in everything except hockey, and Americans are doing it better than they are Sorry Canuckie, don't care what you think of Baseball - it hasn't had a number of teams move south of the border or bankrupt (ahem, NHL).

We lost our AAA Baseball team because it moved south. The CBL folded a few years ago for finacial reasons. The current baseball up here is a joke.......and if you think throwing money around in hockey means anything......I watched the Detroit-Edmonton game tonight.....in Detroit......so-called Hockey Town......the stands were half empty! Whereas Edmonton has sold out 4 straight seasons of home games......we also play football better and can kick you around in rugby......and we have better beer, rye, whisky, coffee.....

We lost our AAA Baseball team because it moved south. The CBL folded a few years ago for finacial reasons. The current baseball up here is a joke....... 'Cause you guys stink at it. and if you think throwing money around in hockey means anything......I watched the Detroit-Edmonton game tonight.....in Detroit......so-called Hockey Town......the stands were half empty! Whereas Edmonton has sold out 4 straight seasons of home games...... Um, considering it's practically your national sport, it is an embarrassment that you guys can't keep your own teams financially solvent. You may not like the initial attendance in Detroit, but at least the thugs in that town care enough about the team to keep it where it is. we also play football better and can kick you around in rugby......and we have better beer, rye, whisky, coffee..... This sentence is indicative of your lack of taste. I'll concede rugby (and yes, I do consider it a real and serious sport); but your "football" (whether you're using the word in the European or American sense) is a joke - considering our NFL castoffs can become CFL MVP's - and your beers are mostly tasteless (I do like Labatts, but c'mon, most of your beers are terrible), there's no way you make whiskey better than even one of our 50 states, let alone the collection, and coffee? ? Tell me you threw that in to see if I was paying attention...

The difference between "involvement" and "commitment" can be seen in a dish of ham and eggs. The chicken was "involved", the pig was "committed".

ALCS Game 7, Bottom of the 8th, not looking good for the Tribe.
Update: Looking downright terrible for Cleveland now. Down 9 runs with 3 outs to go.
Last Update: Game over, Red Sox win 11-2. Sorry, cleveland.

I don't know. But if this becomes their calling card I don't know if Bostonians are ready for that kind of craziness. They're all so used to losing that with every inning, if you say that the game is over, you actually will get shot...

I don't know. But if this becomes their calling card I don't know if Bostonians are ready for that kind of craziness. They're all so used to losing that with every inning, if you say that the game is over, you actually will get shot... Red Sox fans are the most annoying in the world. This was my position long before my beloved Indians lost to them. It will continue to be my position long afterwards.

Red Sox fans are the second most annoying in the world. The MOST annoying fans are Chicago White Sox fans. They're like Red Sox fans covered in the rust of Cleveland (haha, when's the last time we made a rust joke about cleveland?) -Nick
