I wonder if his beef is with all small-breasted women, or just the energy-efficient ones. 8)

If they're neo-confederates like him, he's likely willing to overlook cupsize.

I am going to give up coffee cold turkey starting next week. With how picky women are nowadays to the extent that overconfident 6s demand perfect 8s and 9s, I need to have every possible benefit in my favor. If I give up coffee now, then I can at least salvage my teeth and probably get them professionally whitened.
Not worth giving up the coffee. As someone that considered teeth whitening once, its not worth it. Just get your teeth clean and make a habit of taking care of them.

Two years ago was my first dentist visit since I was 18, after the first cleaning was noticeable then when I made a routine of flossing/brushing with an electric toothbrush...yeah it was a hell of a difference.

Unfortunately my genetics have blessed me with yellow teeth anyway, so I'll never get a brilliant white but that doesn't bother me, I'm happy with the shade I got now.

Besides as Punch already told you, learn to smile not show your teeth.

Edit: please don't be one those that drink coffee from a straw to preserve your pearly whites.

You know, I just feel like I have to preserve what very little assets I have if I want to stand a chance in the dating world. If I were taller and/or wealthier, then I could afford to let yellow teeth slide. But as it is, teeth could be the only leverage I have since it is the one thing under my control. I am not looking forward to the withdrawal symptoms next week.
Happy Birthday, JamesR. I hope you get those white teeth you want!
God bless!

I'm looking forward to Charles Martel's tweets as he watches this historic remake.

The original wonderworking version of the icon of the Mother of God "Inexhaustible Cup" resides in the city of Serpukhov and its feast day is celebrated on May 5th.

Cinco de Mayo.  Tragic for white, American Orthodox alcoholics.

I approve hecma's avatar. Too few people wear round glasses these days.

I used to, and my friend's elementary school aged sibling began calling me Harry Potter, and then everyone else did.  So I bought some of those plastic framed glasses because they wouldn't break as easily.  Then they became standard uniform items for hipsters.  Rather than change my eyewear again, I decided to just become bitter instead.

"It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring..."

Who exactly is this old man, and how did he become so famous that every child knows about him yet so unfamous that we don't know his name? And is the raining directly related to the snoring, or are they merely coincidental? Does he only snore during downpours, or even if it's just sprinkling, like a kinda light whistling snore or something?

How much New York Times charges for a digital edition in the US? For some reason FB is placing NY Times adds on my newsfeed with a price of 1,50€/week for a tablet app. A bit curious if the price is different for US folks.

About $3.75 to $8.75 per week, depending on how much content you want.

That's for U.S. folks. Not sure what they charge for people in other lands. :)

Thanks. It seems to be cheaper for us here. I guess it makes sense since I assume people tend to prefer own newspapers. Non-Americans have less need for an American newspaper so the price must be cheaper to people to pay for it.

Whatever happened to Jonathan Gress? He got married and fell off the face of the earth.

Lucky him!  I'm still here.
Clearly you need to go find a spouse.

OCNet is my spouse.

So that's whats wrong with us......
All opinions expressed by myself are quite tragically my own, and not those of any other poster or wall hangings.

That divorce would be the mother of all messes.

I wonder who will get custody of JamesR.
It's common knowledge that you secretly want to be born in early 17th century Russia.  As a serf or a royal, I know not.  Chances are serf.

Having been extremely sick the last few days it occurred to me moreso than before how repugnant and base is the idea that we can or should or will be redeemed through suffering. I can see how it'd have made a lot more sense to people living in 500 BCE Palestine or 500 CE Constantinople though.

Because they didn't get modern illnesses?

If you're not going to be redeemed thru suffering, then what is suffering going to be for you? As you found out, nobody goes without suffering. I'd rather the inevitable redeem me than damn me.
