I think I'm addicted to Starbucks. Oh well, I guess it is better than other type of addictions  ;D
always preferred Tim Horton's compared to the base of anything starbucks had. and for fancy drinks, Wegmans/SPoT is superior

The first day I came here, my friends told me I have to switch from Starbuck to Tim Horton's. I might try it tomorrow.

I suppose when you kept telling us you can't go to church and can't divulge your native language I came to think you lived in Saudi Arabia or someplace like that.

Yes, I did live in a country where converting to Christianity is a social crime but not a legal crime.  And it wasn't okay to go to a church and convert, because it would cause a lot of issues. However, I had the freedom to practice my faith privately.

It is also a social crime but less than when you convert to Christianity, but Atheism doesn't require all what Christianity does, being Atheist is just the lack of belief in a god.

Tim Horton's is great...but not for coffee.

Personal favourites, and this is coming from someone that's worked at one

Iced Coffee
Steeped tea( personally get milk and sugar)
Coffee(black)
Frozen Lemonade when I'm in that sort of mood
Iced Capps also popular, but less with me
If they still have it, iced green tea
I only buy the iced tea during the summer when it is a dollar
Smoothies are good too

It isn't. I have more respect for heroin junks than for people hooked on overpriced hipster sludge. At least heroin junks don't pretend to have dignity.

I don't want to go to work. I want to sleep. Sleep for something like two months.

Finally, after several months, I have finished making (a very rough sketch of) a conlang. Appearently, it is customary for people, when having created a language, to translate Genesis 11, 1-9, so...

11 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.

2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.

4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

5 And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.

6 And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
Do not be cast down over the struggle - the Lord loves a brave warrior. The Lord loves the soul that is valiant.

Does anybody here know anything about writing screenplay like movie scripts? I'm trying to get into this genre of writing but I don't know much about the proper formatting and rules.

There are special software programs that help with writing screenplays (All screenplays need to be in a specific format, otherwise they won't usually get taken seriously).

Trelby is a free and open source program for this purpose; it comes with a manual that explains a lot of the stuff you'll need to know.

There are also instructions for writing screenplays here.

For those of you not in the private fora, you are really missing out on some exciting stuff!  :P

I'd be there right now if it weren't for my moderation. :(

Hello! I am back from my vacation (from posting)! How is everyone today?

Welcome back!
Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

Does anybody else relate to this?  I've been nostalgic lately about being a kid in the 70's.  This brings some of it back.

Three cloves of garlic, some jalapenos and a bit too much of chili powder.   :-X :'(

Is that because they have eccentric tastes? I have nothing against lesbianism, but in my experience they seem obnoxious.
