Magazine-loving chimps chill "reading".

The group of chimpazees in the sanctuary in Sorocaba, SP developed a taste for "reading" pictures-filled magazines. They get the magazines with their food and some start "reading" immediatelly and others take it to their homes to check the pictures calmly with their breakfast.

Many Energies, 3 Persons, 2 Natures, 1 God, 1 Church, 1 Baptism, and 1 Cup. The Son begotten only from the Father, the Spirit proceeding only from the Father, Each glorifying the Other. The Son sends the Spirit, the Spirit Reveals the Son, the Father is seen in the Son. The Spirit spoke through the Prophets and Fathers and does so even today.

It's there but not working properly for me, and only partly functional, which I assume is what you are also experiencing? I'm not sure of the reason either way though ...

I miss this place, as I found there people who live real Orthodox Christian life.
And by the way, I saw you have signed up... in the feed one still can see the old posts or the new members. ;)
So, welcome! Wish we could discuss things there as well.

Facebook has been suggesting that I join groups dedicated to Lord RayEl. Not sure what to think about that.

There's even a football player, Adam Muema, who is devoted to him.

Muema turned down a chance to be in the NFL, a decision one "Cardinal Richard Ruff"--another RayElian--claims was predicted in the Bible by a series of coded messages.

Raël, RayEl, "Corky" Ra, it's hard to tell all those guys apart!

By the way has anyone heard of amightywind? It's another example of a kooky online cult, one which apparently is known for harassing others.

The reason I know about it is because when I wrote a Christmas song and posted it onto YouTube, an awful lot of the "suggested videos" were really dodgy ones from cults, conspiracy theorists, and fundamentalists claiming that Christmas was satanic or un-Christian. One of them was by amightywind. Another was from the "No Greater Joy Ministries" of Michael and Debi Pearl, who advocate child abuse practices that led to the deaths of several children and also claim that wife-beating is just what men do.

Why, oh why, must you pick on me, O YouTube?

They have a Facebook page, where the leader claims to have had visions from Yahweh, and so forth. There is another Facebook page which 'exposes' them and calls them a cult. The group's website has parts about visions of UFOs, among other stuff. So they are a bit different.  :police:

I volunteered to work 4 hours today, which will end up counting as 8 - then it's home for dinner!

An appropriate icon for today:

Saw it the other week, but have been seeing the phenomenon in the world for a while. I have a feeling many oc.netters would fit the bill.

Try to find the AP article on it. The photos are the hardestcore gay porn I've ever seen. Happy Black Friday.

http://www.thebolditalic.com/articles/6235-the-lumbersexual-is-here-to-chop-down-metrosexuals

Quote
It goes without saying that virtually no man ever called himself a metrosexual, which really just referred to men who shopped for their own pants, went to the gym, and used moisturizer. (That was a big leap. It really was.) So don’t expect the term Lumbersexual to blow up, no matter how ubiquitous Lumbersexuals become.

Around the time that men who previously just thought of themselves as “men” began thinking of themselves as “straight men,” some other things happened. It became more acceptable to care about your appearance and read some magazines to that effect than before. And straight guys hug each other a lot more than they used to, which is great. This move back to a more overtly masculine style — which like metrosexuality, is still consumption-based — builds on that, rather than canceling it out. Who wouldn’t want a beer and a warm embrace after felling some timber?
Quote
The breath of Thine Holy Spirit inspires artists, poets and scientists. The power of Thy supreme knowledge makes them prophets and interpreters of Thy laws, who reveal the depths of Thy creative wisdom. Their works speak unwittingly of Thee. How great art Thou in Thy creation! How great art Thou in man!

Time goes by so slowly
Time goes by so slowly
Time goes by so slowly

Every little thing that you say or do
I'm hung up
I'm hung up on you
Waiting for your call
Baby night and day
I'm fed up
I'm tired of waiting on you

Time goes by so slowly for those who wait
No time to hesitate
Those who run seem to have all the fun
I'm caught up
I don't know what to do

So I guess if you're a lumbersexual and also muscular, then you're a lumberjacked? And really, if you already have the lumber and sexual parts, you're gonna want to be swole anyway.

So my colleague visited NYC some weeks ago.  Few days ago  she told that they had found somewhat cheap flights ( less than 500 €). I've thought that flights to the US cost more like 1000 € although I've never bothered to actually check the prices. That gave me some ideas. We've been thinking some travel with my brother but he said that he don't want to pay for 500€ for flights only. Maybe I should just ditch the brother and travel without. My family sucks anyway. :P

Of all the places I went in Europe, I liked the Lauterbrunnen valley in Switzerland the best. Florence was also pretty awesome. I like the Mosel river valley in Germany too.
God bless!
