Not possible.  There is absolutely nothing Lenten about absinthe.

I'm teasing. Just wondering why your material is extra-rich today. :P

When I'm good, I'm good.  And when I'm not, I still am, I'm just shy.

Will you chip in for the pay-per-view movie channels?

I admire people who can bake prosphora well.  Any time I tried my hand at it (granted, our method is a bit different from just about everyone else's), the result was just barely acceptable for sacrifice.  Once I baked a grade A prosphora, but most of mine have been C-.

You're a little young for "pay-per-view" movies, aren't you?
Anyway, we wouldn't want to contribute to the delinquency of a minor.

the 'contributing' part is any adult teaching or aiding and abetting or things like that to the criminal activity of an underage person.
It is considered a very serious criminal offence; as are indeed any activities of adults involving minors - and not just sexual ones!
If found guilty of a charge of 'contributing' carries a minimum sentence of 7 years and a maximum of up to 12-13  - depending on the circumstances.

How old do you think I am?  And why did you think "pay-per-view" was sexual?

C'mon, Mor; at early 30's you could be my grandson - I'm 72.
And ppv need not be sexual, violence and other nasty stuff is just as
undesirable.
OK, 'nuff said; I thought it was a sort of a tease, that's all, but I guess I pushed it too far.
Sorry.

All I want is to talk to someone about all the crocheting I've gotten done at work tonight. And internetting.

This is either the dumbest job or the best.

Can't sleep so I've been figuring out what my family's various patronymics would be in Russian. Fun fact- mine would be Iosifovna.

Funnier fact: I am Denise Denisova.

My parents could not agree on a girls name and for some reason my mom didn't catch on that perhaps naming me Denise was for some ulterior motive by someone named Dennis.

Worse yet, I have a older first cousin named Denise. This has lead to a life of 'Denise and deNephew' jokes since my mother and each sibling has a niece Denise.

I should. But this version is also from a song from the 60's by a stupidly named group called Randy and the Rainbows.  :o

Is anyone very familiar with the Minneapolis St. Paul airport? I flew through there years ago and I remember it being really organized, but not much else. Wondering if a 47 minute layover there is too short. It's definitely shorter than I usually go for, but it's either that or I sit in Detroit for hours, and I'd really, really rather not.

I have traveled through there several times.  You're gonna be cutting it close, but it is doable.  Last time I went through there, I literally had to run through the airport.  If you don't mind the stress of it and have the stamina, I say go for it.  Also, if you map it out before hand, they have indoor trains that'll get you to where you need to be pretty quickly.

Thanks for the input, Ionnis. I had to run through Detroit once and it was not my favorite experience, so I'm not too eager to do it again. I don't know what I'm going to do... maybe I missed a better itinerary.

It's one of the better airports to do what you're doing, actually.  Very well organized, not overly large, the indoor trains, and all of the terminals are fairly near each other.  It is, as Ionnis mentioned, cutting it very close, but provided you've done all of your checking-in beforehand, and there aren't any significant delays on the arrival, you should be fine.

Best wishes though.

Considering some recent threads, how many times has this site seen people join solely to defend themselves after having been mentioned? What about people who joined simply to argue against them?

Considering some recent threads, how many times has this site seen people join solely to defend themselves after having been mentioned? What about people who joined simply to argue against them?

I am vaguely aware of ralfellis, is there another? The only one that comes to mind that I'm certain about was when Dr. Jeannie Constantinou showed up (forum user drjeannie). I believe the Orthodox Christian Al Green might have came to refute some comments about him and/or his site (probably comments made by me, certainly obnoxious in tone if they were), but I'm not sure about that, and can't seem to locate his profile. I also contacted Dr. James Cutsinger when he was being discussed, but he did not come to the site and just pointed to a text that he thought would be helpful.

Army helicopters are circling above, tanks are driving on the motorway and armed soldiers are marching through the streets. Now that isn't something you see every day. It seems the Nuclear Summit has begun.

I found another option that gives me an hour and 15 minutes in Atlanta. I know that airport like the back of my hand, so I'm going to take that one I think. Thanks for the input, guys!
