Sure, he can just pretend like he knows everything about everything as do certain others around here... Oh wait, I actually prefer J Micheal's self-deprecating sense of humor to the megalomania of other posters.
Dude all he has to do is copy the text, go to google, paste then click search.

Voila.

There's a difference between pontificating about stuff you don't know and cobbling together wiki articles to assert your "knowledge" like Marc1152 does, then knowing what a word or phrase means.

His posting and Trisagions really do drag this board down to a screeching halt. We'd be better without the insistant banter.

If he could be relegated to the Orthodox Family forum to talk with others of his intellect, namely freshmen (he ain't that much of a philandering philaster yet) the noise would go down significantly.
Your post about "TheTrisagion's wife" was disgusting.  You have repeatedly shown that you have no desire to follow our standards for conduct here.  You are hereby banned; do not return to the forum.

Wait... Shulamite? Isn't it Shunamite?

It's supposed to be the feminine version of Solomon: Shlomo & Shlomit (Shulamit).

Abishag the Shunamite who kept King David warm when he was old (1 Kings 1-2) was a native of Shunem. So was the widow whose son was resurrected by Elisha (2 Kings 4).

I was thinking of the widow. Interesting!

Are you talking to me? I wish you were because of the fun. No, of course I am not Jesus. Why would I want to be Jesus? Much less if I was as megalomaniac.

I tried that a few years ago, but I got bored when I had to approve the same laws again and again.

Since Lemmy never stops either:

I got no reason, to lie to you
What's in the cards, that's what I do
I was born a-running and laughing out loud
With my feet on the ground and my head in the clouds

You better run, baby you better run
I got a blade like lightning, silver bullets in my gun

I'm short and I'm tall, I'm black and I'm white
Sometimes I be wrong, sometimes I be right
I'm iron and steel, I'm bad to the bone
You come looking for trouble, honey don't you come alone

You better run, oh baby you better run
I got a blade like lightning, silver bullets in my gun

I seen 'em come, and I seen 'em go
I seen things and been people, that nobody knows
I'm talking in pictures and I'm painting them black
I seen Satan coming honey, in a big black Cadillac

You better run, baby you better run, oh yeah
I got a blade like lightning, silver bullets in my gun

Watch out

it's just an internet forum, folks; it's hard for me to get what the problems are with someone  asking the officials to discipline people they don't like. I don't like a few but I have other means of dealing with them. I'm quite determined to not make recourse to the powers that be.

Ok, last one:

Don't touch that dial!
Television screams, your face turning green,
Don't listen to the news,
Don't know what you hear, they never make it clear,
They like to keep your state confused,
Propaganda time, the official line,
You're hungry, you get fed,
Everlasting smile, you must convey their style,
But they're just a Talking Head

Television voice don't give you any choice,
You only hear the man,
Don't take them in, you don't know where they been,
'Cos it's a complex plan,
They keep you nice and quiet, even control your diet,
You're hungry you get fed,
Teach you to be meek, 'til all you are is weak,
'Til you're just a Talking Head

Television screams, this ought to be a dream,
Remember what I say,
Don't be hypnotised by sugar coated lies,
Don't switch it on today,
It's the way things are, from that pickle jar,
You're hungry you get fed,
But if you play the game, you become the same,
Another Talking Head

No kidding. The worst are announcements threatening to leave.

All I know is that single shop from some posters is worth the entire posting history others.

I am thinking about starting to report nearly everything I see which falls outside the rules, since there is a bit of imbalance toward the more well adjusted who don't care about such stuff when they are set on by the rules lawyers. Could be fun.

I've known them since I was a little kid. However, it's only lately that I've come to appreciate their art very much. I like the depth and the intensity of the whole experience.

My sermon is like a train coming at you and I am the conductor.

I pulled this picture from the "What Does Everyone Look Like" thread.

Work fell apart when one of the Ethiopians I work with (whose English is pretty rough after being here a long time) grabbed me to explain "Ethiopian Christianity" to a few others who asked her about it.

LOL.

Sorry to all the OOs, when I am you representative to the world.

She is a very kind woman and we have developed some form of communicating which requires only nouns and infinitives.

I have come to the conclusion that I am madly in love with my left hand.
I never realized this was an innuendo until it was too late. My friend told me the joke and I thought of it as completely benign and not at all raunchy in nature. When I finally realized what it meant it was too late to edit it. Please forgive my naivete and incompetence in writing this obscene post.

It didn't even dawn to me that it was an innuendo, but I think I get it now.

Frustration. That feeling when your computer crashes and you reboot it, and it crashes again so you reboot it and do a system restore, and it crashes yet again... and (to make a long story short) the additional thing you have to do is simply shut the thing off completely.

Today I made a fruit smoothie and added some wine to it for good measure. It wasn't bad.

What kind of fruit? What do those taste like? tbh I've never had one, as much as I've heard them talked about.

Speaking of, I received one of these at Christmas time and it's still sitting in my freezer... maybe I'll have it tonight:

Arbor Mist!! Hahaha. I forgot all about that stuff. It's very fruity and sweet. I've never had their frozen cocktails before. The only wine I have in the house is Pinot Noir so that's what I used in my adult smoothie.

"Tie your mother down, tie your mother down, hit your brother with a brick, watch your father drown. Tie your mother down, tie your mother down, give me all your love tonight". The best version of the song I can come up with after hearing other renditions.
