yesterdy marked the 46th anniversary of Che Guevara's death. The righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. As it is written.

Yeah, but not about Che.

("Politics", anyone?)

Che is glorified by hipsters nowadays.  And bad mural painters.
do you mean hipsters write troparia to him? what do you mean by glorified? i'll grant you that his image was confiscated by the global capital.
And that, my friend, is irony.
It's not.

You're right.  Che expected his face to make money for capitalists. ::)

He would have been a crappy Marxist if this came as a surprise.
get it. he was more of a Romantic revolutionary. but still, when compared to his enemies. those are beyond despicable.

Romantic, yes.  But he did fight for what he believed in.  And as a physician, he helped people.  I can respect that.

"I respect murdering people."
Who are you quoting?  He lived by the sword...

"First, do no harm."  From the Hippocratic Oath that doctors used to take.

Doesn't apply when taking the role of a warfighter.  The Oath applies to Doctors in the treatment of their patients.

And here I thought physicians were to treat/heal/cure sick and injured people, rather than kill them.  Silly me  ::).  Back under my rock I go.
Quote
"I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hippocratic_Oath

I know, I know.....who'd want to be bound by  THAT ::) ::)?

Never mind that the oath is matter of blasphemy.

And the Bible says not to swear them in the first place.

Excellent points, but did Che concern himself with blasphemy against God or adhering to what the Bible says?  The Bible also says, not that he would have concerned himself with it, "Thou shalt not murder", which some render as "Thou shalt not kill".  Whether or not he did either, I don't know.  But to glorify and idolize him as some kind of saint, when I doubt he was even a Christian, just rings hollow and well, somewhat idolatrous.  Did he do good?  Probably.  But then, so do many other people who do much more than he ever probably even dreamed of.

Lord have mercy.

She looks more of a boy than I do. It's really creepy. I couldn't imagine being in a relationship with her and not thinking every second I am a pedophile.

A girl near me is her twin, if she were a little, just a little heavier and a lesbian.

And it seems that Miley has been following this girl's look for the last 18 months or so.

Johansen is attractive, but by no means the sexiest woman alive.  I don't know how Esquire came up with that.

As for Miley Cyrus?  Eww.

No the problem with Miley Cyrus are has-beens like Sinead O'Connor who latch onto her superstardom just to have a fleeting moment of public attention.

Seriously everyone is jumping on the bandwagon. If you just mention her name in a sentence you will have a gossip rag piece written about you.

Even Suzanne Summers is coming out saying she has hot sex at 66 counteracting Miley's claim that folks in their 40s don't have sex.

I feel like dressing up like a beatnik, heading to the local hipster bar, and showing them what they're missing out on.  Ironically, of course.

Does it taste more like antelope or hare?

Sort of like roast chicken with a slightly gamey aftertaste.  Scrumptious, really, when seasoned properly.  When marinated in caballine nectar for at least 48 hours, and grilled outside with a gentle sprinkling of the finest Northwestern Mongolian earwax when just about done, accompanied by a salad of organic greens, home fries, and your favorite beer.....Well,  it really doesn't get much better than that!

My that does sound delightful!  The marinade of caballine nectar would be an absolute must.  Now, do you put the earwax on during cooking or after plating?  I may have to do both to see which is best.  Perhaps a good dandelion green salad would be wonderful with a nice vinaigrette.

Sprinkle on the finely grated earwax just before removing the jackalope from the grill.  Gets you the best of both worlds.  A dandelion green salad, with a few sprigs of organic nettle leaf is just the ticket.  Wild mushrooms, too, if you can find them and are careful and discriminating.

Yes, I do believe you're right.  That glint in her eye, the way that she holds the "apples", and the apparent way that she is popping out of a stump give it away.

To do otherwise would be extremely insensitive, rude, and...............dangerous.

She hails Snizha, Kursk oblast.  When she talks to me, I think she thinks that I know where she is talking about.  I smile and nod, as well as make sure she doesn't ladle me a bowl of mushroom soup.

Clever, discerning, discriminating.....and smart, too, you are!

Her great-grandaughter is learning too.  I hear she is quite fetching.

Don't try any funny business with Babushka's great-granddaughter, either.  She doesn't wear her heart on her sleeve, but she always, ALWAYS carries extra ammo.  And a knife.  Somewhere.  Just don't mess with her, you'll be fine.

Is she demonstrating a new method of shooting?  Training the French, perhaps?

What you don't see downrange at approximately 350 meters, is a very clean kill.  She's smiling at her next victimprisoner to be executed, showing that he will die quickly and not to fear her skills.

Dear all,

I have a serious linguistic problem.

Is it anyhow common among native English-speakers to write sentences without subject? I'm not referring to passives but rather to sentences where I am the subject.

My brains are trying to tell me that it is grammatically incorrect but for some reason it doesn't sound wrong.
