Here's a picture of Nicolas Cage on the set of the upcoming Left Behind remake:

I just called a business and their hold music was "Yellow Rose of Texas" in MIDI music.  I thought I was transported back to the 90's for a second.

Uh...what is MIDI music??

Uh...what is MIDI music??
It is a music file type that allows for a digital sound and takes up very little room.  It is synthesized and typically very cheesy sounding. It was used back when floppy discs were common because they did not take up much room.

Here are some samples.

I read the Left Behind Series back in the good ol' days.  I greatly regret the amount of time spent reading those books. Wasted youth.  *sigh*  :'(

Yup.  Read both the adult and teen series and watched all the movies.  I'm going to go into a dark room and cry.  That would be better time spent.  And Nicholas Cage is a prolific, mediocre actor.

Nicolas Cage isn't mediocre at all. He's very good in good movies, and freaking phenomenal in bad ones. I expect nothing short of the performance of a lifetime here.

Between Nicholas Cage and Woody Harrelson I like exactly one movie. And that was somewhat because of Wesley Snipes.

What does this mean?

Cage has a ton of debt, not surprised in the least.

He still is garbage.

Meh. I've been in a funk all day. First I put off my school work. Then I blew off doing anything like reading tonight. Now I'm sitting here trying to figure out how I can occupy myself so that I'm not bored, without actually having to do anything requiring me to think... or move. My fingers are currently moving, so I am failing. Or succeeding at not being a failure. Whichever.

Especially when properly and productively used for the purpose(s) for which they were designed, and even more especially in the hands of a trained and skilled "practitioner".  Without tools we probably wouldn't be human.

My first shave with shaving soap. I've been using safety razor for some time but it wasn't until now I got a proper shaving soap. It wasn't that extraordinary as I was expecting but it was nice anyway. Not anyhow more complicated or time-consuming than using shaving foam or electric razor. I hope it helps me to reduce the amount of waste and save some money.

Someday I want to try some of those straight razors. It's seems conveniently old-fashioned, cheap and doesn't produce any waste as there is no need to buy new razors.
