I got an ICXC NIKA tattoo....

Why?

ICXC NIKA is not appropriate for a tattoo as that phrase is placed on the Lamb using the seal.

The memory of God should be treasured in our hearts like the precious pearl mentioned in the Holy Gospel. Our life's goal should be to nurture and contemplate God always within, and never let it depart, for this steadfastness will drive demons away from us. - Paraphrased from St. Philotheus of Sinai

How does the latter make the former inappropriate?

If William is considering himself to be God Incarnate, I would say it is inappropriate.  Otherwise, I can't work up too much outrage on this one.
The term planet earth is an innovation which has arisen in recent centuries with the error of heliocentrism.

If one wants to confess a pure doctrine of Orthodoxy, they should be careful not to refer to the earth as a planet, unlike the current Pope as well as Patriarch Kirill and Patriarch Bartholomew, who regularly speak in error when they refer to our planet earth.

Understandable, I was just foolin around :) I think I posted the three that I have at various points, though I could only find one on here. They all need either touched up and/or added to, so I'm hesitant to post them... but what the heck, I've never shied away from giving out too much personal info or potentially embarrassing myself  ;D

Just don't! You'll live to regret it.

No offence to those who've already got them, but I've always thought tattoos to be the ultimate mark of poor taste. Especially religious themed ones (LARP alarm!) - followed by the (often misspelled) body inscriptions in fancy exotic characters (Arabic, Aramaic, Hebrew, Devanagari or Chinese).

Don't tell anyone, but I have to admit that I'm watching Project Runway right now (homosexual propaganda!), and am going to watch Breaking Bad next (glamorizing drug use!)... so the horror and metal won't start until after midnight, which, admittedly, is fitting.
