Bars or no bars?

Shatterproof glass. There are no bars to be seen anywhere in the place.

It's been a long time since I've gone to a zoo.  I remember bars.  Glass sounds nicer.  Both suck if you're a tiger, though.

I just found out that Frederik North, the 5th Earl of Guildford, who established the Ionian Academy on Corfu, was an Orthodox Christian.

It is all a matter of perspective.  Maybe comparatively speaking, it is really easy.  He doesn't require we sacrifice our first born children and fillet the skin from our bodies to achieve theosis, so thats something, right?  ;)

If a person was born blind I would not blame them for being unable to see the sun...

See where I'm going with this? Or, I suppose, I shouldn't say that God makes it so hard, so much as he lets it be hard. For some. Most? Any?

Didn't JamesR  start a whole thread about this, but from the point of view of suffering?  There was actually some good discussion there about it.  I seem to recall that I thought Shanghaiski's reply was the best of the lot.  But, that was just my opinion.

And yeah...it's hard.  Sometimes it's a little easier than others, but.........

Hey guys, I heard that Karl Keating believes that only one of the three conditions (namely, faith and morals) is needed for a papal statement to be ex cathedra. I can hardly believe it, but I read it in black and white!

Notice that the model has bent one leg forward and the other leg is in the background, so it gives an illusion that one knee cap is slightly higher than the other.

The hanging pockets result because these jeans are cut-off a little too short, but that is the crazy fashions we are experiencing.
